Scope and Contents

The Historic Preservation Section of the Sustainable Development and Construction Department provides services related to historic districts, historic structures, and potential historic districts and structures. These services include Landmark (historic) Designation, Certificates of Appropriateness (approval forms for work on landmark structures), and administering tax incentive programs within historic districts and on individual historic structures. The Sustainable Development and Construction Department was formerly known as the Planning Department.

The slides and photographs in this collection were created primarily by or with the participation of Jim Anderson, Senior Planner, Sustainable Development and Construction Department.
